MEET NICOLE
New Leadership for Our District

Life has a funny way of showing us who we are in times of trouble. When storms hit, when systems break down, and when families are left to fend for themselves, the true measure of a community isn’t found in political rhetoric. It’s found in the people who roll up their sleeves and show up.
I am running for the Texas House of Representatives in District 3 because the people of Montgomery County have gone without a real choice for too many years. It is time to stop accepting the status quo. It is time to get back to governing for the people.
To understand why I fight so fiercely for our community, you have to understand where I came from. At age three, I was placed into foster care. Shortly after, I was adopted into a massive, loving, blended family of ten children. Growing up in a bustling household taught me early on that communities are only as strong as the people who show up for each other. There was no room for selfishness or standing on the sidelines; we shared, we relied on one another, and we weathered life’s storms as a single, unified front.
When we look at the challenges facing Texas today, we don't need more professional politicians armed with catchy slogans. We need leaders who understand how public agencies actually operate under pressure. My career hasn’t been spent inside a political bubble. I started my professional journey in public safety before transitioning to the private sector, where I’ve spent years working alongside major state and federal agencies. I have collaborated directly with the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC).
You can find me enjoying life right here in our community. I cherish spending time with my husband, exploring the vibrant local arts scene, and as cliche as it sounds, walking in the park.
